Dirk arrived in Australia with a breeding permit in December 2020. After being in the stallion selection until the final few, he was purchased by TLF and sent to do his ABFP testing. Dirk was awarded with the highest marks of the testing with a score under saddle of 84.0, including 8.5 for his trot and 8.0 for canter. This makes him the highest-scoring stallion currently in Australia.

 

After his first breeding sseason, he returned to training with dressage rider Justine Greer. At the 2022 Australia Dressage Championships, Dirk placed 5th in Australia in the Novice competition. He has rarely had a score under 70% in all the competitions that he has been in.
